Amigurumi teddy bear crochet pattern – toy and clothes

This crochet pattern designed by fox_and_dog will help you to make amigurumi teddy bear. The pattern includes instructions for toy and crochet clothes: trousers and jacket.

This tutorial is easy to follow, includes 29  pages of bear and clothes description, 8 video and tips for work with eyelash yarn.

Materials needed for bear creating:

1. For body: Fluffy yarn Himalaya toffee (50g/88m) or Vita fancy plush (50g/100m) of brown or coffee color. You can substitute this yarn to any fluffy yarn that you like. But it must have similar meterage. – We will need about 2 skeins (150g).

2. Yarn for clothes: you can use any yarn you want, meterage is 50g/200m – for trousers (I used Detskaya novinka, 100% acrylic, chocolate color), and 50g/125m – for jacket (I used BBB premier, 100% wool, grey color) – you will need small amount. Choosing the yarn be sure that the meterage is similar to my yarn otherwise your bear will be smaller or bigger and you will have to make clothes yourself for your bear size.

3. 2.5 mm crochet hook. Or a crochet hook which is appropriate for your yarn.

4. 7mm safety eyes.

5. Thin cotton yarn for legs jointing (I use Iris (25g/150m). The color is similar to body’s color.

6. Dark brown threads for nose embroidery.

7. Toy stuffing: holofiber or sintepon.

8. Markers.

Level: easy, but you must know main stitches: single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, increase, decrease. 

My bear size is 21-22 cm. The toy size depends on your yarn and crochet hook and density.
