This detailed BOSIKOSHA crochet pattern includes three toys “Baby animals” series – a cat, a mouse and a dog.

PATTERN DETAILS

– PDF format;

– 23 pages of detailed instructions with 36 high-quality pictures;

– 4 video instructions: “How to hide place of color changing”, “Mouse tail making”, “Eyes sewing and sculpting”, “Muzzle sculpting from the nose to the mouth”;

– in English language with using American crochet terminology;

– crochet level: the confident beginner; you should know the following basic crocheting skills: magic ring, chain stitch, single crochet, increasing and decreasing, slip stitch, crocheting around spiral.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Final size of the work with the recommended materials and tools ~ 20 cm (7,87 inches)

• Yarn Alize “Cotton Gold”, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 330 m/100gr.

Cat body No.21(grey mélange color), ~  ¼ of a skein

Mouse body  No. 200 (light grey color), ~ ¼ of a skein

Dog body No. 152 (beige mélange color), ~ ¼ of a skein

Cat muzzle and tail No. 62 (milky) or No. 55 (white) (some)

Just a note: You can to use also: YarnArt “Jeans”, Gazzal “Baby Cotton” or similar yarn instead of Alize “Cotton Gold”.

Use any yarn you like, but final size of your toy may differ. In this case, choose eyes appropriate size.

• To crochet the nose I used 100% acrylic yarn, 280m/ 50gr brown (No.173) and black (No.02) colors. Also it may help to use floss thread (4-6 ply) instead, thin cotton thread 150m/25gr.

• 2 sewing eyes d.4 mm. I use plastic sewing eyes by “HobbyBe” SOP-4 (d=4 mm). You can use round beads instead.

• Size 1,7 mm crochet hook (main); size 1,0 mm (to make the noses)

• Toy stuffing (any polyfill stuffing)

• Strong thread (to sew and to make eyes sculpting simultaneously)

• Black sewing threads (to decorate the muzzles)

• Long thick wide-eyed needle to sew the parts

• Thin sewing needle (to embroider)

• Scissors

• Pins

• Tweezers, a wooden stick to stuff the work

• Stitch marker thread (use contrast thread)
