DailyDoll Shop is a global marketplace for handmade, artistic, collectible, and creative goods. While the platform is not curated, certain categories of items are prohibited or restricted for legal, safety, ethical, consumer-protection, and community-protection reasons.
This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use.
By listing products on DailyDoll Shop, sellers (“Sellers”) agree to comply with this Policy.
DailyDoll Shop may remove listings, restrict accounts, suspend shops, or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of severe or repeated violations, legal requirements, regulatory obligations, payment processor compliance requirements, or imminent risk to users.
1. General Principles
DailyDoll Shop prohibits the sale of items that:
- violate applicable local, national, or international law,
- pose risks to safety, health, or wellbeing,
- promote hatred, violence, discrimination, terrorism, or illegal behavior,
- infringe intellectual property rights,
- conflict with platform values, safety standards, or brand standards.
Suspended Sellers may receive a notification unless legal, regulatory, security, or safety constraints prevent disclosure.
Some items require contextual evaluation (e.g., historical, artistic, educational, journalistic, or documentary content). DailyDoll Shop reserves the right to determine what is appropriate for the platform.
2. Prohibited Categories of Goods
2.1. Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, snuff, vaping devices, e-liquids, nicotine products
- Recreational drugs, controlled substances, legal highs
- Herbal or synthetic substances with intoxicating or medicinal effects
- Drug paraphernalia (e.g., bongs, pipes used for drug consumption, vaporizer components)
- Prescription medications, OTC drugs, regulated medical devices
- Claims that a product cures, prevents, diagnoses, or treats medical conditions unless compliant with applicable law and expressly approved by DailyDoll Shop
Prohibited medical claims include:
- anti-vaccination content,
- false health promises,
- unverified treatment or cure claims,
- misleading medical or wellness claims.
Examples of Allowed Items
- Brewing kits
- Baked goods made with alcohol (without liquid alcohol content where legally required)
- Decorative hookahs
- Smoking pipes intended solely as collectible or decorative items
- Empty alcohol bottles intended as collectibles or décor
3. Animal Products & Human Remains
The following are prohibited:
- Live animals
- Items made from cat or dog fur, skin, or body parts
- Ivory, tusks, or bones of ivory-producing species (including mammoth tusk where prohibited by law)
- Human remains or body parts
(exception: cleaned, non-identifiable teeth, nails, or hair where legally permitted)
Allowed Examples
- Leather goods
- Animal bones and horns not originating from protected or ivory-producing species
- Textiles from animal hair (wool, alpaca, mohair, etc.)
4. Hazardous Materials, Recalled Items & Weapons
4.1. Hazardous Materials (Fully Prohibited)
Including but not limited to:
- Explosives, fireworks, sparklers
- Flammable goods, combustible powders
- Compressed, toxic, or hazardous gases
- Radioactive materials
- Poisonous substances
- Loose lithium batteries or batteries restricted by transportation regulations
4.2. Recalled or Unsafe Products
Banned:
- Products recalled by manufacturers or government agencies
- Items posing unreasonable risks of choking, shock, strangulation, ingestion, burns, or injury
4.3. Weapons
Prohibited:
- Firearms (active or antique)
- Ammunition, magazines, weapon components
- Combat knives, switchblades, daggers, concealed weapons
- Any object primarily designed to cause harm or injury
Allowed Examples
- Kitchen knives
- Letter openers
- Toy or cosplay weapons (non-functional and clearly marked as toys where required by law)
5. Hate Items & Discriminatory Content
DailyDoll Shop prohibits items that:
- promote, glorify, or support hate groups, extremist ideology, or terrorism,
- target individuals or protected groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other legally protected status,
- use slurs, hate symbols, or derogatory statements,
- promote or deny genocide, crimes against humanity, or acts of terrorism.
Allowed (case-by-case, contextual)
- Swastikas in religious or cultural context (Hindu, Buddhist, Jain)
- Satire, critique, educational, journalistic, artistic, or historical analysis
- Materials condemning hate organizations or extremist ideology
All contextual listings may be removed at DailyDoll Shop’s discretion where required for safety, compliance, or risk-management purposes.
6. Illegal, Regulated, or Fraudulent Goods
Strictly prohibited:
- Counterfeit or unauthorized branded items
- Fake luxury goods or replicas of trademarked designs
- Goods using trademarked components without authorization
- Stolen items
- Government documents (IDs, passports, licenses)
- Personal data, credit card information, mailing lists
- Stocks, bonds, securities, or regulated financial instruments
- Real estate listings
- Vehicles (cars, motorcycles, boats, trailers)
- Cryptocurrency mining equipment where restricted by payment processors or applicable law
- Lottery tickets or gambling-related products prohibited by law
- Illegal surveillance equipment or lock-picking devices
- Fake medical tests, vaccination certificates, COVID passes, or fraudulent medical documentation
- Realistic badges or items implying unauthorized law enforcement or government affiliation
Regulated goods requiring legal compliance:
- Seeds and plants
- Baby products
- Food items
Sellers must ensure compliance with all local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) may independently block transactions that violate sanctions, compliance rules, acceptable use policies, or risk standards.
7. Nudity, Adult Content & Pornography
DailyDoll Shop allows some forms of artistic nudity with restrictions but prohibits pornography and sexually explicit content.
Prohibited:
- Pornographic content
- Sexualized depictions of minors or persons appearing to be minors
- Bestiality, incest, or non-consensual themes
- Used intimate items where prohibited by law or hygiene regulations
- Explicit sexual acts intended primarily for sexual arousal
Allowed (restricted):
- Non-pornographic artistic nude imagery
- Depictions of buttocks or artistic figure studies
- Mature-themed art with proper labeling
- Fictional content with mild erotic undertones that is non-explicit and lawful
All adult-oriented content must be labeled clearly. Mislabeling may result in removal, restriction, or suspension.
8. Violence & Harmful Content
Prohibited:
- Items glorifying suffering, violence, serial killers, terrorism, or mass tragedies
- Items exploiting disasters or human tragedy for harmful purposes
- Encouraging self-harm, starvation, suicide, or dangerous behavior
- Content promoting harmful misinformation likely to cause physical, financial, or public harm
Allowed:
- Fictional works (zombies, fantasy violence, horror fiction)
- Artwork or literature with educational, artistic, documentary, or historical value
- Support or awareness materials relating to mental health struggles or recovery
9. International Trade & Compliance
Sellers must comply with:
- export/import restrictions,
- customs documentation requirements,
- international sanctions and trade laws,
- country-specific prohibitions and regulatory requirements.
DailyDoll Shop may:
- request additional information,
- require disclosure of country of origin,
- block listings prohibited in certain jurisdictions or regions.
Payment processors may independently restrict certain transactions based on sanctions, risk controls, or legal obligations.
