KnotFolk is a small cross stitch studio devoted to cities, memory, and silence.
The shop presents Quiet Cities. Stitched Memory — a long-term embroidery project where each city becomes a miniature stitched archive. These are architectural cross stitch patterns inspired by historic buildings, urban silhouettes, and the quiet presence of place.
Every design is created as a monochrome city composition in counted cross stitch. The patterns vary in size, with 150 x 150 stitches as the maximum format, allowing each piece to remain intimate, balanced, and detailed. Architecture is translated into thread with precision and restraint — no excess, only structure and atmosphere.
Quiet Cities is not about modern skylines or noise. It is about 19th-century facades, old streets, memory held in brick and shadow. It is about slowing down and stitching a city as if preserving it.
All cross stitch patterns are original digital PDF designs created by Anastasia Gakhova, editor-in-chief of Dailydoll.news. Each miniature city embroidery pattern is part of a growing collection meant to connect with collectors, stitchers, and those who feel attached to places.
KnotFolk focuses exclusively on:
• miniature city cross stitch patterns • architectural embroidery art • monochrome urban stitching • Quiet Cities cross stitch collection • digital PDF city embroidery designs
This is a long project. A stitched atlas. A memory kept in thread.
