Clothespins are an ideal simulator for developing fine
motor skills and tactile sensitivity of fingers, visual and color
perception, attention, thinking, speech, memory and imagination.

Variants of the game:
Attach the missing parts. The missing elements must be
attached to the figures that the child chooses at will. For example:
thorns to a cactus or legs to a ladybug.
Match clothespins by color. For the figures, you need to
pick up clothespins of the same color. Learn and repeat colors.
Learn to count. Ask your child to attach a certain number
of clothespins to the chosen shape. We develop counting skills.
What is missing. Arrange several figures (3-5) in front of
the child, let him look carefully and remember them, ask him to close
his eyes and remove one figure. The child must guess which figure is
missing. We develop attention and memory.
Lotto. Divide the pieces among the players. Clothespins in
the bag. Without looking, remove one clothespin from the bag. If the
clothespin fits your shape in color, you keep it and attach it to the
shape. If the clothespin does not fit into any of your pieces, put it
back in the bag. The game continues until there are clothespins in
the bag.
Hide and seek. The child closes his eyes or leaves the
room. At this time, you will attach clothespins in the room. The
child is asked to find all the clothespins and count your catch. If
the children are 2 or 3 years old, then you can arrange contests, the
winner will be the one who finds more clothespins.
