Panda brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

Pandas, they are so cute. You can’t help falling in love with them. This brooch is an easy and quick project. My pattern is sure to help you, it is in a .pdf format, containing 9 pages and 35 step-by-step photos. The pattern is in English and is intended for those who already have some skills in toy crochet. The difficulties may arise only because of working with lace yarn and sewing the small parts.

 

(Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

 

To crochet Panda you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

• Black and white yarns of the same thickness. I’ve used lace mercerized cotton Dandy by Kamteks (330m/50gr – 360 yds/1.76 oz)

• Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

• Filler

• Black mouline thread to embroider the nose, white Mouline thread or any fine white thread to design the eye.

• 1 eye or bead/seed bead, mine is a 2 mm eye with a stem.

• Glue for eye

• Scissors, fine needle, pins

• 2 cm brooch pin

• Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)

3. My detailed crochet tutorial. Good mood as an addition.

 

If you use the materials mentioned above, the size of the toy will be 4×2.5 cm (1.77×0.98 inches).
