Mermaid brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

Just a perfect addition to any outfit. This stylish and blazing handmade brooch is sure to make the right impression.

To crochet mermaid you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet

2. Materials:

• Yarn: I used Vita Cotton 240 m/50 gr ( 262.5 yds/1.76 oz) 100% mercerized cotton in beige, bright-green and pink

• Corresponding hook. Mine is 1,3 mm (US size 10)

• Filler

• Strong wire. I used a florist one 1.2

• Slip joint pliers to work with the wire.

• Sticking tape for sharp wire ends.

• Black and pink embroidery floss for eyes and lips.

• Scissors, needle

• Brooch pin. Mine is round, 1.5 cm (0.59 inch) in diameter. A hatpin, run from the top through the body, will do perfectly

• Pins, marker
