Reproduction Soviet Union artel doll 1920-1940 Anna

Anna is a reproduction of a Soviet Union artel doll of the 1920s-1930s. It was a series of 8 girl dolls representing different regions of Russia. These play dolls are up to 10 inches in size. I tried to make it as close to the original as possible.

Description of Anna in the American catalogue: “Anna’s cheeks glow red as winter apples neath that tired-on velvet cap. She is from far north, perhaps Vladivostok”

Some items of clothing are not removable.

Anna’s clothes are made from Soviet vintage fabrics.
