Izannah Walker style doll Boy 15 inch

This boy in the style of Izanah Walker dolls is made entirely of cloth. His head with shoulders is made in a press-form that I made myself. The body is sewn from cotton fabric, the “second skin” I sewed from blue cotton satin.

His head, body and boots are painted with oil paints.

The boy wears a warm plaid suit that I made from cotton flannel. The costume consists of a jacket, breeches and a skirt. At the waist is a leather belt with a beautiful metal buckle. The costume model is inherent in the costumes of boys in the middle of the 19th century. The boy also wears pantaloons and an undershirt. In the hands of the boy is his beloved rag dog.

All internal seams on the clothes are carefully processed, so you can wash them.
