Crochet duck toy pattern: Venya the Duckling. Easter amigurumi

This very detailed BOSIKOSHA crochet pattern will help you crochet a cute little duck, as well as sailor hat (sea cap), a panama hat and an egg shell for him. Venya the Duckling in an egg shell can serve as a nice souvenir or decor for Easter!

PATTERN DETAILS

– PDF format;

– 21 pages of detailed instructions with more than 50 high-quality pictures;

– 4 video instructions: “How to make the toes”, “Wings thread joint”, “Eyes sewing and sculpting”, “Last round of the eggshell”;

– in English language with using American crochet terminology;

– crochet level: the confident beginner – intermediate; you should know the following basic crocheting skills: magic ring, chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increasing and decreasing, slip stitch, crocheting around spiral.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Final size of the anteater with the recommended materials and tools ~ 10 cm (3,94 inches).

• YarnArt Jeans, 55% cotton, 45% polyacrylic, 160m/50gr,

No 35 (yellow) and No 85 (orange) for the duckling;

white, light blue, and blue for accessories (sailor hat, panama hat, eggshell).

Just a note: You can to use also: Gazzal “Baby Cotton”, Alize “Cotton gold” or yarn similar characteristics.

Use any yarn you like, but final size of your toy may differ. In this case, choose eyes appropriate size.

• 2 sewing eyes (or round beads) d.4 mm. I use plastic sewing eyes by “HobbyBe” SOP-4 (d=4mm).

• Size 1,7 mm crochet hook

• Toy stuffing (any polyfill stuffing)

• Strong thread (to sew and to make sculpting)

• Black sewing threads (to embroider the eyebrows)

• Thick long needle

• Thin sewing needle (to sew the eyes and to embroider the eyebrows)

• Scissors

• Pins

• Tweezers, a wooden stick to stuff the parts of the work

• Stitch markers (or use wasted yarn contrast color)
