Unicorn Brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

Let’s crochet this wonderful brooch. If you or your baby wear it, you are sure to become the center of attention and you will be proud to say that you did it yourself.

Here is the list of what you would need –

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase.

2. Materials:

• Yarn: all of the same thickness. I use 100% mercerized cotton:

white – mail color, Pekhorka Uspeshnaya  220 m/50 gr (240 yds/1.7 oz).

pinc Vita Coco 240 m/50 gr (262 yds/ 1.7 oz)

yellow – for horn, Vita Coco 240 m/50 gr (262 yds/ 1.7 oz)

• Corresponding  hook. Mine is  1,3 mm (US size 10)

• Filler

• Eyes. Mine are 3 mm insertable eyes.

• Tapestry needle to sew the parts, scissors

• Black DMC cotton thread to embroider the nostrils and eyes

• DMC cotton threads of different colors and fine yarn for hair

• Glue for eyes and hair

• A means to add tone to cheeks and ears. I have oil pastel + a blender brush

• Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm (0.7 inch)

• Optionally: pins, stitch marker
