Christmas Elf CROCHET PATTERN, amigurumi doll Santa’s helper toy

With this Christmas Elf CROCHET PATTERN you will be able to create a 10.5 inch (27 cm) cute amigurumi boy or girl Christmas elf doll)))

PLEASE NOTE!

This crochet pattern is in English (US terms) and contains detailed instructions and auxiliary photo- and video instructions of the soft elf doll creation.

You have to master basic crochet skills (single crochet, chain stitches, slip stitch, increase / decrease, etc.).

You will need:

o yarn: for elf – red, white, skin color yarn (I used Yarnart Jeans, 50 g/250 m); for shorts: green (I used Gazzal Dennis 2 strands held together, 50 g/500 m) and white (I used Yarnart Jeans, 50 g/250 m) or any substitute with similar characteristics;

o crochet hook size 2 mm and smaller size hooks for finishing pieces and weaving ends;

o stuffing material (polyester);

o lollypop stick;

o for eyes: embroidery floss of needed colors (if you want to embroider eyes) or cotton fusible interfacing /dense texture white cotton fabric and acrylic paints – eyes DIY video is here;

o for hair: yarn of hair color (I used fuzzy yarn from my stash) or wool for felting and felting needle;

o glue to attach eyes (I used transparent «Moment Crystal»);

o scissors, marker(s) and other auxiliary tools and materials.

Finished size: If you crochet your toy with tools & materials recommended in this pattern your finished item will be about 10.5 inch (27 cm) or 13.5 inch (32 cm) including cap.
