★ Written in English, using USA terminology
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ FINISHED SIZE of the micro toy is about 2.5-3cm, fit into a walnut shell
★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must be able to crochet micro toys. Also I added useful video lessons.
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
– Yarn: I use thin «Slonim» yarn (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 1500m). Colors: beige to crochet a bear; red and a little green,yellow,white to crochet a cap. A floss of 1-2 threads is also suitable; you need a thin thread, as thin as possible.
NOTE: this pattern can also be used for crocheting toys from thicker yarn, so if it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first.
– Hook №0.7 (0.7mm; it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9)
– Fiberfill (to stuff)
– Glue eyes (2mm)
– 6.5-7cm one piece of wire (insert into the cap)
– Walnut shell, 8 magnets, some decors (to decorate the shells from the inside), ribbon.
– Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue (to glue the magnets), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
