Andy Bear is approx. 30 cm (11.8 in) tall from head to toe and approx. 21 cm (8.3 in) when seated.

All pieces of Teddy Bear are knitted flat on regular straight needles.

Almost any type of yarn can be used to make this Andy Bear. The type of yarn you use will directly affect the look and size of Teddy Bear. The yarn and knitting needles suggested are the ones I used to create this pattern. If you choose another type of yarn, make sure you use appropriately sized knitting needles with it. It is better however to have your stitches a little snug than a too loose.

Materialien:

I used YarnArt Baby (100% acrylic) 150 m/ 164yds /50 g, color 316; yarn weight: DK (11 wpi); yarn consumption: approx. 65 g (200 m)

– needles: straight knitting needles size 3 mm or whatever suits the yarn you are using;

– marking thread or plastic markers;

– sewing straight pins;

– tapestry needle;

– toy stuffing material;

– small piece of black felt to cut the nose and eyes;

– sewing needle;

– black sewing thread.

Skills Required:

– knit/purl;

– increase/decrease;

– mattress stitch seaming;

– basic sewing skills.
